GRAMMY®-nominated, Platinum- selling and Billboard Music Award-winning rockers Skillet will headline the Winter Jam 2018 Tour Spectacular, it was revealed during the tour's launch celebration earlier this evening at Nashville’s Hard Rock Café. Among the biggest annual tours in the world, Winter Jam is once again set to showcase a lineup of some of the best and brightest names in Christian music. The show will come to Atlanta’s Philips Arena on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.
"We are so excited to be back on Winter Jam in 2018,” said Skillet’s John Cooper. “I'm looking forward to playing with great artists, talking about faith with great friends, and playing for the legendary crowds that attend Winter Jam!”
Guns N' Hoses

The Chief's Amateur Boxing Championship, affectionately referred to as "Atlanta Guns N' Hoses," will showcase bouts featuring Atlanta Police Athletic League (PAL) youth as well as matches between Atlanta police officers and Atlanta firefighters, along with other law enforcement officers and first responders from the greater Atlanta area.
Atlanta Guns N' Hoses is the flagship fundraising event for the Atlanta PAL, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. PAL relies on the event to raise the critical funding necessary to keep the two Atlanta PAL centers operational and able to provide FREE athletic, academic and enriching activities for metro-area youth.

Already known for his part in popular songs such as “WassUp”, “I See You”, and “Partna Dem” as a member of the group Rich Kidz, Skooly has segued into the solo world with ease. In 2015, he released his first solo project, ‘BlaccJonGotti’. The release showcased the lyrical prowess and impressive delivery for which the Atlanta native had come to be known. After signing with 2 Chainz’ TRU label, Skooly continued to feed fans with features on the label’s ‘TRUsday’ releases, ‘TRUJackCity’ project, and his collaboration with popular production duo Nard & B, aptly titled ‘TrenchGotti’. Coming off his first nationwide tour as an opener on 2 Chainz' "PrettyGirlsLikeTrapMusic" tour, Skooly released his new album, ‘BaccwardFeelings’, which reveals a new level to his talents. Featuring appearances from Young Thug, Kidd, mentor 2 Chainz, and producers such as Bobby Kritical, Dun Deal, and DuckoMcFli, the project leaves you wondering what’s next for Skooly.
Atlanta Ballet Nutcracker

Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker will kick off artistic director Gennadi Nedvigin’s second season with the Company. “Over the last 22 years, McFall’s version has become synonymous with the holiday season in Atlanta, and Atlanta Ballet is proud to have brought joy to so many children and families through his magical choreography and fanciful characters,” says Nedvigin. “We are excited to celebrate the legacy of Atlanta Ballet’s Nutcracker with every performance throughout this final run.” Atlantans can look forward to a fresh, new version of the holiday classic, featuring the choreography of Yuri Possokhov, resident choreographer with San Francisco Ballet, in December 2018.
